Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

There is much debate among the sistas as to who has the best chocolate chip cookie recipe.  I'd probably lean toward Jill's.  BUT, I like this recipe from The Mormom Cookbook, and it is titled "The Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies".  These are special edition chocolate chip cookies since I added broken Cadbury Eggs to them.  Even if these aren't the best cookies ever, I would argue that it is by far the best cookie dough I've ever had!

1 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 12 oz. bag chocoate chips
1/2 bag of slightly crushed Cadbury Eggs :)

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.  Sift flour, salt, baking soda.  Add to cream mixture.  Beat well.  Stir in chocoate chips.  Bake 350 degrees 8 to 12 minutes.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

ingredients:

2 cups sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup cocoa
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
confectioner's sugar

directions:

in a large mixer bowl combine sugar and oil. add cocoa; blend well. beat in eggs and vanilla. combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. add to cocoa mixture, blending well. chill at least 6 hours in the refrigerator {or 1 hour in the freezer} to allow dough to firm up. if you don't allow it to chill it's a sticky mess.

heat oven to 350 degrees. shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll into confectioners' sugar. place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. bake 12 to 14 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touching. remove from cookie sheet; cool on wire rack.

Sugar Cookies

Got this from the H-Team cookbook. Soft, sugary, fluffy...Chan has not stopped eating them.

Sour Cream Sugar Cookies
By: Jeanne Hammond

1 2/3 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond
5 1/2 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add sour cream and flavorings. Add dry ingredients. Chill dough several hours. Roll out (not too thin). Bake at 400 degrees, 8 -10 mins (only until you see the edges barely start to turn brown). They stay softer if you don't over cook them.
